This role offers the opportunity for you to work for a large high street bank and as such, the ability to build relationships with both new and established customers. Individuals who are able to collaborate with a variety of people in different contexts will be most successful in this role.
Relationship management is an ongoing aspect of the role that allows you to stay on top of clients financial goals and needs. With the information you gain from face to face client meetings, youll be able to recommend Royal Bank of Scotland Group's products and devise effective strategies.
Your ultimate goal will always be to offer the best advice that meets clients needs, as well as to maximise sales opportunities. In order to do so, you must develop and maintain a broad and detailed knowledge of everything from the Royal Bank's regulations and compliance to products and market awareness. That way youll be sure to provide the truly world class service for which we are renowned.
Working closely with other retail branch staff is an important and essential part of the role. In order to generate sufficient sales leads, you will coach and inspire your colleagues on the best ways to reach their targets. You will be in regular contact with your colleagues to determine how you can best meet clients needs.
You should currently be employed in the Financial Services industry with at least one year's sales experience. Having passed the FPC examinations 1-3 inclusive, or equivalent, and having held Competent Advisor Status for at least six of the last 24 months, your qualifications will help you transition smoothly into this role. As a target-driven individual with excellent customer service skills, youll have no problem setting and meeting objectives.
